As a VP within the ADG group Harris Williams organization, you will be based in Richmond, VA. Our Aerospace, Defense & Government Services Group, led by professionals with deep transactional and operational experience in the industry, works with investors and company leaders worldwide to help them navigate the M&A and private capital markets to unlock value in their businesses. We have an extensive track record advising a diverse range of companies across each of our core sectors: aerospace technology and products, aviation services, defense and space, and government technology and services. Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree.
  • Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years.

Nice To Haves

  • Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
  • Specific certifications are often required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Leads merger and acquisition advisory activities in the ADG space - a s a leader in aerospace, defense, and government M&A and private capital advisory services, our group advises clients across a variety of sectors and specialized subsectors.
  • Integral leader in all of the firm's merger and acquisition advisory activities.
  • Responsible for the integrity of the valuation analyses and merger and acquisition models developed in concert with Financial Analysts and Associates.
  • Actively contributes during every phase of the deal process and are encouraged to handle a high level of responsibility on transaction teams.
  • Oversees the development of both initial pitch material and descriptive memoranda and are expected to actively lead drafting sessions and due diligence meetings, as well as conversations with clients and counter parties.
  • Encouraged to begin to participate in new business development.
