The Vice President of Accounting & Corporate Controller (VP) is a strategic and operational leader responsible for the oversight of the organization's controllership and treasury functions. This critical role encompasses a wide range of functions, including but not limited to the management of accounting processes, extensive financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, tax compliance, treasury and cash management, accounts payable, payroll, debt financing and compliance and related functions. The primary objective of the VP of Accounting/Controller is to ensure the health system’s financial health while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. As a vital member of the health system's leadership team, the VP will work collaboratively with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and various department heads to foster an environment of financial integrity, provide essential financial insights and support decision-making processes.
