About The Position

Our 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital is seeking a part-time Veterinary Ultrasound Technician to join our team. Requirements

• Able to interact and communicate professionally between multiple departments
• Able to interact with clients in a manner that supports Avets mission statement
• Remain calm and efficient in a high stress environment
• Pursue continuing education opportunities, both independently and those provided by Avets
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas of the hospital (i.e. CT and MRI equipment)
• Schedule will include a portion of the weekend and holiday shifts required by hospital patient load

Nice To Haves

• 1 year ultrasound experience with nontraditional and adaptive scanning
• Veterinary experience
