About The Position

Cross Timbers Animal Medical Center is hiring a Veterinary Technician! Our practice is ready to hire a full-time veterinary technician to add to its fantastic team. We are a well-established hospital seeing small animals with 3 full-time veterinarians. We see dogs, cats, exotics, and more! Nice To Haves

  • Veterinary technician experience, although training is available
  • Knowledge of safe and proper restraint techniques of both dogs and cats
  • Knowledge of phlebotomy and intravenous catheter placement
  • Ability to give subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous injections
  • Ability to intubate patients, perform dental cleanings, and monitor anesthesia
  • Solid foundation of knowledge of common veterinary medications and terms
