Requirements

  • RVT: Valid and current California RVT license
  • SVA: 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Calm, compassionate, and reliable in high-stress situations
  • Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service
  • Willingness to learn and grow technical skills

Responsibilities

  • Triaging incoming patients and assisting DVMs with assessments, treatments, and procedures
  • Providing advanced monitoring and nursing care for hospitalized patients
  • Inducing and monitoring anesthesia safely
  • Performing in-house lab tests and preparing samples for external labs
  • Collaborating on treatment plans and communicating updates to clients
  • Participating in daily rounds and ensuring seamless shift communication
