About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Rockville, MD is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and develop a team of veterinary professionals.

Pay: $31.50 - $49.00 / hour + competitive shift differentials
This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Patient Care staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
