About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Downtown Manhattan NYC is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and ability to help motivate, engage, and develop a team of veterinary professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be a leader in a dynamic team of veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical skills and have strong passion for training and mentoring. This position requires someone with strong communication, time management and organizational skills. Responsibilities
- Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
- Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
- Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
- Organize training schedules for Patient Care staff.
- Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
- Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
- Other related duties as assigned.
