Points East Veterinary Specialty Hospital is currently seeking an overnight ICU Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join a strong team of specialty doctors as we expand and grow. $3,000 hiring bonus for qualified candidates Points East is proud to be the only specialty hospital east of Raleigh, serving patients across North Carolina and southern Virginia. As a privately owned, VECCS-certified Level III hospital, we operate out of a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. Located in Wilson, NC, Points East proudly offers specialty care across multiple disciplines, including board-certified Surgery, Critical Care, and Internal Medicine. Requirements

Experience working in a veterinary emergency, ICU, or critical care setting.
Strong understanding of veterinary emergency procedures, patient handling, and basic medical terminology.
Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with the veterinary team and pet owners in a professional and compassionate manner.
Demonstrated care and empathy for canine and feline patients, providing comfort and reassurance to patients in distress.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail to accurately report patient behavior and condition to the veterinary team.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
