About The Position

Clarksville Veterinary Clinic is Hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician! Position Details Role: Licensed Veterinary Technician Status: Full-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure Schedule: Our working hours are 7:30-5:30, Monday - Friday, and 7:30-12:30 on Saturdays. The normal schedule is one to two half days and every other Saturday, after a 90-day probation period, for approximately 40 hrs. We are seeking a full-time licensed veterinary technician who can handle animals and assist veterinarians during exams and treatments. Requirements

Experienced Licensed Vet Tech
Someone who enjoys teamwork and learning
Great client communication skills and pleasant personality

Responsibilities

Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments
Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients from intake through discharge
Animal care and holding
Answer phones and greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
