With our Internal Medicine team they play a vital role in delivering care for patients with a variety of complex illnesses. They support our board-certified internist, emergency clinicians, and specialists across all departments. In this essential role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between our Internists and clients—communicating updates on patient histories, diagnostics, and care plans with clarity and compassion. You’ll support a wide range of internal medicine procedures, from placing IV catheters and assisting with intubation to facilitating endoscopy, ultrasound, and radiology workflows. Your expertise will ensure proper equipment setup and maintenance, and you’ll guide clients through critical home care instructions for treatments like insulin administration, subcutaneous fluids, and feeding tube management. This role requires a high level of independence, teamwork, and attention to detail—all in the name of delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements

Licensed or Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT)
Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably with Internal Medicine experience in a specialty setting

Responsibilities

Serve as a key liaison between our Internists and clients—communicating updates on patient histories, diagnostics, and care plans with clarity and compassion.
Support a wide range of internal medicine procedures, from placing IV catheters and assisting with intubation to facilitating endoscopy, ultrasound, and radiology workflows.
Ensure proper equipment setup and maintenance
Guide clients through critical home care instructions for treatments like insulin administration, subcutaneous fluids, and feeding tube management.
