About The Position

University Vet Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Technician/Assistant! Have you met University Vet Hospital?! Let us introduce ourselves! We are a team-oriented, 5 -doctor practice of passionate professionals looking to add a Veterinary Technician to our crew who is proficient with anesthesia, performing dental prophylactic procedures, and taking dental radiographs. We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team! RVT’s are preferred, but we will consider a candidate with 2+ years of solid technician experience. Requirements

  • Must be computer savvy
  • Must have accuracy in medical records and dictation
  • Must have a great attitude and be very personable
  • Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment, with a smile on your face
  • Must be able to multitask and effectively triage
  • Must understand how to deal with difficult situations with tact and empathy
  • Must love animals and people alike!
  • Saturday work will be mandatory

Nice To Haves

  • RVT’s are preferred
  • Cornerstone software experience is a plus
