About The Position

LOCUM coverage is needed from April 2026 to September 2026. The successful candidate will work alongside another board-certified surgeon and a dedicated team. Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota, established in 1980, is Minnesota's largest locally owned emergency and specialty hospital, committed to providing long-term care. The hospital is owned and managed by veterinarians, ensuring leadership understands the daily demands of the job. AERC boasts true multispecialty collaboration with boarded specialists in various fields, all housed in a newly constructed, 47,000 sq. ft. facility spanning three floors. The environment is stable and supportive, with many specialists having tenure of over a decade. AERC offers the advanced medicine and collaboration of a large multispecialty hospital combined with the heart, stability, and support of a locally-owned practice with over four decades of history. Requirements

  • Board certified or residency-trained in Small Animal Surgery
