About The Position

The Pet Stop, founded in 1985, is seeking a Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency Trained Veterinarian with an entrepreneurial mindset to establish and lead a surgical department in Alaska. This role addresses a significant need for specialized surgical care in the state, which is currently underserved. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to select equipment, build a team, and implement systems to deliver high-quality veterinary care and client service. The practice is a well-established small animal practice known for compassionate, individualized care, offering comprehensive medical services including diagnostic ultrasound and endoscopy for dogs, cats, and exotics.
