North Griffin Animal Hospital is a family-owned small animal practice in Griffin, Georgia, dedicated to keeping pets happy and healthy through high-quality care and diagnostic services. Their facility offers a wide range of services including preventative and wellness care, surgery, urgent care, dentistry, complete wellness packages, and various in-house surgeries and diagnostic medicine. The Veterinary Receptionist role involves maintaining the hospital's reception area, greeting clients and patients, addressing concerns, managing communications, scheduling appointments, and processing payments. Receptionists are expected to provide compassionate emotional support to clients and be comfortable with diverse medical outcomes. The position offers opportunities for career growth through virtual and hands-on training and continuing development.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area
  • Greet and welcome clients and patients
  • Answer questions and triage client concerns
  • Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • Check in and check out clients and process payments
  • Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients
