About The Position

Cornerstone Animal Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist! Cornerstone Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced full-time receptionist with awesome customer skills to become a long-term member of our team. We are a full-service animal hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of veterinary care. This is a great opportunity for an outgoing, personable, hard-working and detail-oriented person who wants to help serve people and their pets in a fast-paced environment. The ideal applicant would have at least one year of experience as a receptionist in an animal hospital, great customer service and computer skills, self-leadership, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. In short, this position is best suited for an active, non-sedentary person with a positive energy and a desire to get things done. Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a receptionist in an animal hospital
  • Great customer service and computer skills
  • Self-leadership
  • A positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A willingness to learn
  • Must be able to perform general physical activities pertaining to the every day maintenance of a busy veterinary hospital.
  • These may include assisting the pets into and out of the clinic, stocking and organizing of inventory and other general daily operating duties.

Responsibilities

  • Answering and screening phone calls
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Checking in patients
  • Processing customer payments
  • Educating clients
  • Escorting patients to and from the kennels as well as escorting clients and patients into exam rooms
  • Performing clinic opening and closing procedures
  • Preparing documents for patient admittance
  • Maintaining clinic cleanliness and organization
  • Communicating with fellow team members throughout the clinic
