About The Position

Four Paws Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team. We are a full-service animal hospital offering comprehensive care, including physical rehabilitation and acupuncture, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. As the first point of contact for our clients, the Veterinary Receptionist plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Requirements

Previous animal experience strongly preferred (veterinary clinic, kennel, shelter, or similar setting)
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable handling high call volumes and busy front desk flow
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow
Professional demeanor with a compassionate approach to clients and pets

Responsibilities

Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately
Answer phones, triage calls, and manage multiple lines
Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
Maintain complete and accurate medical records
Communicate clearly with veterinary assistants, technicians, and doctors
Support a smooth workflow between the front and back of the hospital
