Requirements
- Friendly, outgoing, and client-service focused personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational ability
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in customer service or animal-related fields preferred
- Basic animal handling comfort is a plus
- Reliable and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and pets warmly and professionally
- Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communication
- Educate clients about our services and basic pet care
- Maintain accurate client and patient records in our veterinary software
- Process invoices, collect payments, and handle financial transactions
- Support patient check-ins and check-outs, review consent forms
- Assist with retail product sales and restocking
- Perform clerical duties such as faxing, mailing, filing, and ordering supplies
- Clean and maintain the front desk and lobby areas
- Assist with light animal handling (e.g., weighing pets)
- Collaborate with fellow team members and support hospital operations
