About The Position

Bedford Veterinary Medical Center is a state-of-the-art, multi-doctor hospital providing personal, progressive, and comprehensive animal care to dogs, cats, and pocket pets in Southern New Hampshire. They focus on high-quality medicine with utmost care and compassion, offering services such as annual wellness care, anesthesia and sedation, dentistry, internal medicine, laser therapy, an in-house pharmacy, surgery, urgent/immediate care, and acupuncture. The hospital is supported by an experienced staff and is well-equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, dental x-ray, and a complete in-house laboratory. Their sister hospital, Lowell Road Veterinary Center, provides rehabilitation services. The center aims to create a comfortable, family-like experience for clients and pets. Located in tax-free Southern New Hampshire, the area offers beaches, mountains, and city life, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and families. The Veterinary Receptionist role involves maintaining the reception area's visual appeal, greeting clients and patients, addressing concerns, managing communications, scheduling appointments, and processing payments. Receptionists are expected to provide compassionate emotional support to clients and be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experienced Receptionist with a minimum 2-3 years experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area
  • Greet and welcome clients and patients
  • Answer questions and triage client concerns
  • Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • Check in and check out clients and process payments
  • Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients
