Join Our Growing Team at Austin Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center! Are you a dedicated veterinary technician or technician assistant looking to advance your career in a thriving, collaborative, and progressive environment? At Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (AVES), we have recently expanded—adding new doctors, enhancing our services, and growing our departments—now operating in our brand-new, state-of-the-art 45,000 sq. ft. hospital. As part of this continued growth, we’re hiring for multiple technician and assistant roles across departments. We’re seeking highly skilled, self-motivated, and team-oriented professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care in advanced veterinary medicine. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and thrive in a collaborative, inclusive setting, we are currently seeking skilled veterinary technicians to join our Radiation Oncology Department. Patient Care Personnel (PCP) play a vital role in supporting the practitioners at Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center (AVES) by assisting with both technical procedures and administrative tasks. Their contributions help enhance the quality of patient care and improve efficiency for our specialists. PCPs are responsible for delivering compassionate, responsible care to all AVES patients, including monitoring, treatment, and detailed record-keeping throughout hospitalization. Strong communication skills are essential, as collaboration with doctors, Client Patient Coordinators (CPCs), Veterinary Assistants (TAs), and fellow Patient Care Personnel (PCP) is critical to ensuring high-quality outcomes. Daily cleaning and stocking of common areas are also required to maintain AVES’ high standards of care. This position demands a dependable, energetic individual capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
