About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time, board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist to join our collaborative, multispecialty, and emergency-focused team. At BluePearl Levittown, you'll be part of a hospital that prioritizes high-quality patient care, a culture of support, and professional growth. BluePearl Levittown is a state-of-the-art, 20,000-square-foot specialty and emergency veterinary hospital that opened in 2011. We currently have one full-time oncologist and are expanding our oncology department due to increasing demand. In this collaborative and innovative environment, you’ll work alongside specialists in: Anesthesiology Cardiology Clinical Pathology Dentistry & Oral Surgery Dermatology Diagnostic Imaging Internal Medicine Neurology/Neurosurgery Surgery Emergency & Critical Care Hospital Highlights: Dedicated oncology suite in a quiet area of the hospital with ample patient space and multiple workstations Chemotherapy prep area conveniently located across from the oncology suite Advanced imaging & diagnostics: CT scanner, MRI machine, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound (board-certified radiologists on-site 6 days/week) Radioiodine I-131 treatment for cats with hyperthyroidism Separate canine and feline wards ICU equipped with Snyder oxygen cages, high flow oxygen, telemetry, and mechanical ventilation On-site & in-house labs, including VCM viscoelastic monitoring BluePearl Levittown is proud to be named a National Trauma Center, placing it in an elite group of veterinary hospitals. In 2017, our Levittown location was honored as “Practice of the Year” in a nationwide competition. We are also deeply committed to education. Our team frequently hosts continuing education events for primary care veterinarians, sharing knowledge and building strong referral relationships. Academic environment: With over 40 veterinarians on staff, we support residency programs in internal medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging, as well as specialty internships and rotating internships.
