About The Position

The Veterinary Emergency Referral Center (VERC) in Pensacola, FL is seeking a full-time Nursing Manager to lead and elevate our Emergency nursing team! This is a key leadership role for an experienced veterinary nursing professional who is passionate about people, medicine, and operational excellence in a fast-paced emergency setting. The Nursing Manager plays a critical leadership role within VERC, partnering closely with medical and operational leaders to ensure exceptional patient care, efficient workflows, and a thriving nursing team. Requirements

Credentialed Veterinary Technician/Nurse (LVT, RVT, CVT, or equivalent)
Significant experience in emergency and/or specialty veterinary medicine
Proven leadership experience managing teams in a clinical setting
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) required; multilingual skills a plus

Responsibilities

Set and communicate a clear vision for the nursing department aligned with hospital goals
Provide strong, visible leadership that supports excellence in emergency patient care
Oversee daily nursing operations, addressing escalated issues and removing workflow barriers
Develop and execute nursing strategies that support organizational priorities
