About The Position

Animal Hospital is looking for a veterinary exam room assistant/scribe to join our team. We are a high-quality, multi-doctor, full-service hospital. This is a full-time or part-time position with a flexible schedule; however, some Saturday shifts will be required. This position is responsible for managing multiple appointments with the DVM, greeting clients, obtaining medical history, medical data entry, client education, discussing treatment plans, and ensuring that the exam room area of the hospital is clean and presentable at all times. Candidates must have excellent skills in the following areas: data entry, medical terminology, client service, sales, communication, and multitasking. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, an outgoing personality, a high level of computer proficiency, and exceptional communication ability. Most importantly, applicants must be team players who enjoy working as part of a team in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
