About The Position

Priority Pet Urgent Care is opening a new state-of-the-art clinic in Aiken, providing urgent care for pets every day from 12 pm noon until 10 pm. The mission is to offer easy-to-access quality care, prioritizing pets and valuing teamwork, compassion, and excellence. The Customer Service Representative will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, and resolve customer problems with accuracy and efficiency. They should be patient, empathetic, passionately communicative, and confident at troubleshooting to ensure excellent service standards and high customer satisfaction. This role requires comfort with various medical outcomes and the ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises, with potential exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases.

Requirements

  • Experienced Receptionist or Customer Service Representative with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience
  • Weekend availability is required
  • Compassionate and calm team-player
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized and possess computer skills
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
  • Comfortable with various medical outcomes
  • Able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
  • May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • Greet and welcome clients and patients
  • Answer questions and triage client concerns
  • Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • Check in and check out clients and process payments
  • Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients
