About The Position

VCA All Animal Hospital in Orange Park, FL is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their team. This is a small animal general practice with four doctors, proud to be American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited. Beyond high-quality medical care, the hospital offers boarding and bathing services. CSRs are crucial in setting a welcoming tone for client visits, building trust, and ensuring a smooth experience for pets and their owners. Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology or interest in learning
  • Experience with scheduling systems or electronic medical records

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients warmly, answer phones, and guide clients through their visit
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently
  • Place outbound calls for follow-ups and connect with prospective clients
  • Present and explain fees clearly, and process payments accurately
  • Recommend and help coordinate products and services, including prescriptions
  • Answer questions and provide general education on pet care and preventative health (non-medical guidance)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and hospital environment—inside and out
  • Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
  • Support the medical team by helping ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
