About The Position

Beacon Veterinary Specialists is a criticalist-led 24/7 Emergency & Specialty practice seeking a Veterinary Clinical Services Supervisor (People & Culture) to join our team. This role is designed for a leader who is passionate about building strong teams, supporting employee growth, and creating a positive, engaged clinical environment while maintaining high standards of patient care. This position plays a key role in strengthening the people infrastructure of our clinical team, partnering closely with other supervisors and managers to support hiring, onboarding, engagement, and performance management. This is a blended clinical leadership role (~70% on-floor / 30% administrative).

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of veterinary supervisory experience required
  • Background as a Veterinary Assistant / Registered Veterinary Technician required, active RVT license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide Clinical Floor Leadership Supervise daily operations of the clinical support team while on the floor Model professionalism, teamwork, and a strong standard of care
  • Partner with other Clinical Services Supervisors and leadership to maintain consistency across departments
  • Support Hiring & Onboarding Partner with leadership on recruitment, interviewing, and hiring decisions
  • Help ensure a smooth, consistent onboarding experience for new team members
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Services Manager to reinforce training and support transition to the floor
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and guidance to clinical support staff
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, check-ins, and development conversations
  • Address performance concerns with a focus on clarity, accountability, and growth
  • Support team members in identifying career goals and progression opportunities
  • Design and implement employee engagement and recognition initiatives
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment
  • Act as a resource for team members, helping navigate challenges and workplace dynamics
  • Reinforce hospital standards, expectations, and policies
  • Serve as a bridge between team members and leadership
  • Promote clear, respectful, and effective communication across teams
