Veterinary Clinical Skills Director Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor Lyon College School of Veterinary Medicine The Lyon College School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications and nominations for a Director of Clinical Skills (non-tenure track; Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). As a member of our founding team, you will help build a clinical skills curriculum that empowers graduates to be not only career-ready, but future-ready veterinarians, prepared to meet the rapidly evolving demands of 21st century veterinary medicine. Primary responsibilities include teaching, service, and scholarly activities. Teaching activities are related to clinical skills, primary care, and wellness. Service activities vary according to individual preference and program needs. Scholarly activities depend upon the goals of the individual and time assignment to scholarship. A typical time assignment is 75% teaching, 20% scholarly activities, and 5% service. Alternative hiring models including part time, non-benefit eligible positions will be considered. This position will be based at the new Lyon College School of Veterinary Medicine in Cabot, Arkansas. The LCSVM is co-located with Cabot Animal Support Services (CASS). CASS is a local, state, and national model for shelter medicine, animal welfare, community relations, and education.
