Veterinary Assistant – Full Time Starting at $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for higher compensation based on experience, advanced skills, and demonstrated competency. We are a growing small animal hospital seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our collaborative and compassionate team. Schedule: 4-day work week Flexible scheduling This role will cross-train in all areas of the hospital — we’re looking for someone who enjoys being a team player and stepping in wherever support is needed.

• Previous veterinary experience is preferred but not required — we are happy to train the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Obtaining patient histories
• TPRs
• Blood draws and IVC placement
• Patient restraint
• Drawing up and administering vaccines (as permitted)
• Anesthetic monitoring
• Submitting lab samples
• Assisting with treatments and procedures
• Cleaning and hospital organization
• Walking and caring for hospitalized patients
• Supporting front desk operations as needed
