About The Position

Veterinary Assistant Wanted for VCA Eye Clinic for Animals! Location: 5610 Kearny Mesa Rd # A, San Diego, CA 92111 We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our ophthalmology team. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care, with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen No Nights, No Holidays, and No Weekends! Schedule: 7:30-6pm 4x10hrs shifts or 5x8hr shifts Compensation: $18 - $25 / hr., depending on your experience and years in the profession Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and paid vacation/sick days, 401(k), and more! Responsibilities

  • Maintaining medical records.
  • Preparing the surgical suite and surgical patients.
  • Filling prescriptions.
  • Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
  • Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for our patients.
