Requirements
- Experience as a veterinary assistant.
- Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
- Being able to handle timid or stressed patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Client communication and education
- Available to work Friday and Saturday shifts
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and patient care.
- Safely handle and restrain animals; husbandry, cleaning, laundry, providing patient care as directed by the veterinarian.
- Handling lab samples and preparing for currier pick up.
- Medical charting, maintaining accurate patient records.
- Cross train as a client service representative.
- Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
- Able to lift 50lbs without assistance
