About The Position
VCA Hometown Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our one-of-a-kind 6 doctor GP practice! Location: Pflugerville, TX Full-Time, 40 hours Pay Range: $17.00-21.00 based on skill set. Our hospital has been a part of the Pflugerville community for over 15 years. Requirements
- Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Responsibilities
- Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
- Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
- Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
- Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
- Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
- Maintaining medical records.
- Assisting our wonderful Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
- Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.
