About The Position

VCA Bakerstown Animal Hospital in Bakerstown, PA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our 4 doctor practice! The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: Venipuncture catheter placement radiology physical examinations and patient assessment laboratory work pharmacy compassionate care for our hospitalized patients Responsibilities Provide high-quality care for animals by performing routine examinations and assessments. Administer blood sampling and assist in diagnostic procedures. Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans. Collaborate with veterinarians to ensure the well-being of all animals in the facility. Assist in laboratory procedures and perform basic veterinary tasks as needed.
