About The Position

They offer a variety of services including dental care, microchipping, grooming, and MLS Laser Therapy, catering to companions with feathers, fur, or scales. Thunderbird Veterinary Hospital is seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about pets and dedicated to providing exceptional care to join their dynamic team of professionals. The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 1-year experience as a Veterinary Assistant
Proficient in sample collection
Proficient in obtaining medical histories
Proficient in processing laboratory tests and radiographs
Proficient in anesthesia monitoring

Responsibilities

Pet restraint
Triage incoming patients
Collection and analysis of lab samples
Diagnostic imaging
Management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability
Administration of medications
Effective communication of treatment plans with clients
Surgical preparation and assistance
Anesthetic management
