About The Position
VCA Arroyo Grande Animal Hospital is looking for a dependable, motivated, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This is a full-time position working four 10-hour shifts per week, including rotating Saturdays. Our hospital prides itself on providing high-quality patient care while maintaining a supportive, team-focused environment. We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, enjoys a fast-paced setting, and thrives while working collaboratively with doctors and support staff. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
- Proper animal restraint and handling
- Preparing exam rooms and maintaining hospital cleanliness
- Supporting diagnostic procedures (radiographs, lab samples, etc.)
- Communicating effectively with team members and clients
- Helping maintain a smooth and efficient workflow throughout the hospital
