About The Position

A Country Vet is Hiring a Veterinary Assistant! We are building something special at A Country Vet and we have openings for full-time, experienced veterinary assistant to join our team. We are looking for veterinary assistants and technicians who bring creative ideas, critical thinking abilities, and a desire to grow and learn. Requirements

Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Bring creative ideas, critical thinking abilities, and a desire to grow and learn.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures
Safely restrain animals and provide compassionate patient care
Clean and disinfect exam rooms, kennels, and equipment
Feed, walk, and monitor hospitalized or boarding patients
Prepare supplies and support daily clinic operations
Grow as a professional and encourage the growth of others.
Ask for help and offer to help others.
Anticipate the needs of the DVM staff, promoting efficiency and teamwork.
Be accountable for your actions. Possess the confidence to own tasks and responsibilities to deliver positive outcomes.
