About The Position

High Desert Animal Care Hospital, located in Palmdale, CA, is a fast-paced small animal practice that has been providing exceptional care for over 30 years, ranging from routine check-ups to complex surgeries, and handling urgent walk-ins and challenging cases. The hospital prides itself on a thriving culture with a close-knit staff and strong, highly trained support staff. As the Medical Director Veterinarian, you will serve as the pivotal leader of the hospital, with responsibilities encompassing leadership and staff management, client relations, medical quality assurance, and financial oversight in partnership with the Regional Manager. This role is integral to the success of the hospital and offers flexible scheduling and medical autonomy.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
Active veterinary state license, ability to obtain one

Nice To Haves

Current DEA License preferred
USDA Accreditation preferred
