About The Position

Liverpool Animal Health Center is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a busy 5 doctor practice that sees dogs, cats, pocket pets, exotics, and wildlife. LAHC is AAHA and NYSVMS accredited. Location: Liverpool, NY 13090 Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Saturdays (8a-12p) Pay Range: $22$25/hour (commensurate with experience) Sign-On Bonus AvailableLAHC strives to use each staff member to the top of their skillset. Requirements

Veterinary Technician license or license eligible.
You have confidence in blood draws, anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
Comfortable with rotating Saturday shifts and are committed to excellent attendance

Responsibilities

Assist in patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostics
Support our DVMs during appointments, exams, treatments, and procedures
Perform hands-on tasks including drawing blood, catheter placement, and injections, take radiographs and performs EKGs.
Communicate clearly with clients on treatment plans, patient updates, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate medical records
Collaborate with all team members to promote hospital efficiency and workflow
