Technical Operations – Process Analytical Technology (PAT) is part of Pharmaceutical Operations and responsible for process analytical control of Vertex commercial continuous manufacturing processes. This internship allows the candidate to work with a highly diverse group of scientists (i.e Technical Operations- Process and Automation) to solve complex problems encountered in the continuous commercial production/manufacturing of drug products. This intern will have the unique opportunity to explore new horizons to PAT which utilizes material sparing techniques for calibration building – laboratory simulations of manufacturing conditions and universal sample preparations approaches. This will involve building advanced multivariate models from acquired spectroscopic data of drug product intermediates.
