We support several large factories that produce components for the defense industry, we also support internal research and development programs funded by our customers and Raytheon. What You Will Do Responsibilities include all aspects of the automated solution being deployed.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using PTC’s CREO 3 D CAD tool.
  • Experience working with robotics
  • Experience troubleshooting complex mechanisms

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical design from concept to model / drawing completion for moderate to high complexity required.
  • Ability to work and support projects with minimal supervision.
  • Manage small projects with the design, obtaining quotes, make versus buy decisions for fabrication and assembly, while managing budget assigned and adhering to schedule.
  • Design automation solutions, specification of robotics PLC's, sensors, thermal management design and temperature monitoring.
  • Expected to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair deployed automation solutions, Ability to run the software and make adjustments to recover from errors.
