Verification & Control Inspector I - Hickman, AR LOCATION: Blytheville - Arkansas - USA DEPARTMENT: QUALITY Purpose:Performs the verifications and/or final inspections as applicable. Main Responsibilities: Validate Process Perform verifications on NDT Processes to ensure equipment, personnel qualifications, and procedures are compliant. Follow up critical orders/customers/projects. Evaluate the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action taken as part of a quality event. Analyze Data Download, analyze and verify process data on regular basis to find trends, deviations and/or risks that could affect process and or product performance. Work with Operations to define and implement actions to mitigate/eliminate risks of deviation. Re-Define (if necessary) new limits/calibrations/procedures to be used on different products. Support Process Improvement Understand the process and help identify areas of improvement, proposing solutions when possible. Support manufacturing areas on technical matters as required. Main process are Electric Resistance Arc Welding (ERW) and Seamless processing. Main NDT Inspection techniques used are Ultrasonics (UT) and Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI). Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area. Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility. Experience and Education:

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree (Preferred).
  • UT L2 - Ultrasonics Testing
  • ML L2 - Magnetic Flux Leakage
  • MT L2 - Magnetic Particle
  • Self-driven and self-starter
  • Strong decision-making skills
