About The Position

If so, Escapology is looking for a part-time Venue Supervisor to help lead the action and keep every mission running smoothly. As a Venue Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily venue operations, support Game Masters and Hosts, assist guests, and ensure every escape room experience is fun, smooth, and memorable. You’ll be the go-to leader on shift—balancing guest experience, team performance, and operational excellence. 💰 Hourly Pay + Quarterly Bonus Potential— The better the experience you deliver, the more you can earn!

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and a genuine love for interacting with people
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Proactive, independent, and team-oriented leader
  • Employment contingent upon successful Background Check and/or CORI Screening
  • Minimum age of 18 years old
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (6–8 hours) and move between rooms quickly
  • TiPS Certification (training provided if not currently certified)
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in guests, guide them through pre-game, in-game, and post-game experiences
  • Use Escapology’s M3 software to provide hints and clues during gameplay
  • Foster an upbeat, fast-paced, and fun atmosphere for guests and coworkers
  • Upsell games, replay sales, beverages, and merchandise
  • Coach team members to encourage guest and event reviews (goal: 100+ reviews/month)
  • Open and close the venue following established procedures
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly
  • Stay current on training, game updates, and room changes
  • Coordinate with the Sales Event Coordinator or Area Manager on upcoming events
  • Track event payments and assist with catering coordination
  • Participate in marketing events and manage promotional tables
  • Respond to guest questions and booking inquiries via email
  • Manage reservations and customer communications
  • Identify and report potential business opportunities to the Area Manager
  • Forward guest complaints with full details
  • Manage donation requests, records, and pickup scheduling
  • Manage inventory of drinks, merchandise, giveaways, donation items, and cleaning supplies
  • Notify management when stock is low
  • Monitor repair needs, troubleshoot issues, and escalate advanced repairs
  • Ensure all rooms, puzzles, and equipment are fully functional and visually maintained
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness standards using daily/weekly/monthly schedules
