THE JOB Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre is seeking a Security member. This person will Interact with a high volume of customers and personnel. Job responsibilities include guarding, patrolling, monitoring, de-escalating, and assisting with additional requests from Security Management. May operate metal detector equipment. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Responsible for the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets. Exhibit exemplary conduct & appearance while on duty. Comply with & adhere to all the department’s performance, conduct & attendance standards. Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without the loss of efficiency or composure. Comply with all the legal & ethical instructions given by the Security Supervisors on duty and the Manager of Security. Adhere to the Security department's policies and procedures. Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines and deadlines set by the Security Supervisors and/or the Manager of Security. Interact with patrons, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner. May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas. May operate metal detector equipment to ensure venue safety and security Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc. Show CARE by participating in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show. Additional tasks as requested by management.
