THE JOB Sell and distribute event admission tickets per established guidelines, provide guests with ticket pricing and event seating information, including additional amenities that the venue has to offer, such as VIP Club access. You will work directly with the Box Office Manager to determine what offers will be available for each show, and how this will be communicated to our guests. It is the perfect position for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys working independently while still being part of a team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Customer Service experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiar with iPhone, Android and iPad technology
  • Ability to work weekdays, weekends and late evenings
  • Point of sales experience a plus
  • Must attend employee orientation and complete required online training modules.
  • Working environment is fast paced, often loud and stressful.
  • Position may require extended periods of sitting, standing and walking in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests and assist in answering any questions they may have about the venue.
  • Use proprietary computer system to sell paper or mobile event tickets and various upsells offered at each event, including VIP Seating and Club access.
  • Complete all debit and credit card sales accurately, according to Live Nation audit procedures, providing credit card receipts, if applicable.
  • Examine guests’ valid identification and correctly distribute “Will Call” tickets.
  • Assist in providing accommodations for guests with special needs on day of show.
  • Inform guests of the layout of the venue and be prepared to direct them to the restrooms, concession stands and designated seats/sections.
  • Recognize a fake ticket or credential and educate the guest on where to buy authentic tickets.
  • Settle ticketing / seating disputes using specific criteria.
  • Process ticket refunds when approved by the Box Office Manager.
  • Balance out at the end of each shift with the Box Office Manager or Supervisor.
  • Communicate daily concert promotions, upgrades, future ticket deals to guests.
  • Adherence to safety rules.
  • Provide emergency evacuation assistance to guests and crew members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
