About The Position
Venipuncture Technician Full-Time / 8:30 am to 5 pm / Adult Infusion Center / Rotation between three phlebotomy stations for the infusion centers NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia University Irving Medical Center 168 Fort Washington Ave, New York, NY 10032 Committed to care, our Phlebotomy Technicians can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion to our patients. Join our team in a fast-paced outpatient unit drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures. This is a full-time position, with hours from 8:30 am to 5 pm and occasional weekend shifts. This position is located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of principles of infection control and normal anatomy
- Customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of experience
- Phlebotomy Certification from National Phlebotomy Association
