About The Position

Committed to care, our Phlebotomy Technicians can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion to our patients. Join our team in a fast-paced outpatient unit drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures. This is a full-time position, with hours from 8:30 am to 5 pm and occasional weekend shifts. This position is located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of principles of infection control and normal anatomy
• Customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience
• Phlebotomy Certification from National Phlebotomy Association
