About The Position

Vendor Operations Management Consultant Location: The selected candidate must reside within 50 miles of one of Elevance Health PulsePoint location. Hybrid 1: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law. The Vendor Operations Management Consultant will be responsible for vendor relationships including all functionality and coordination between the vendors and Elevance teams. They are responsible for managing relationships with multiple vendors to ensure business goals are achieved for an enterprise function. How you will make an impact: Manages the day-to-day execution of vendor agreements to ensure compliance, monitor quality, and when necessary, develop corrective action plans. Reconciles vendor invoices. May participate in fact-based negotiations of agreements and/or participate or lead cross-functional teams to implement vendor services. Investigates claims and recoveries when questions arise and to validate the vendor findings and reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in business or related field required
  • 5 - 7 years of increasingly responsible health care operations experience
  • or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
