About The Position

Identifies vendor needs for all departments in hospital. Consults orders both medical and office supplies as needed. Also, returns all unused or missed ordered supplies to vendor in a timely fashion Assists Leadership with vendor strategy and clear line of execution. Guides team with organization and keeping vendor information up to date. Mains and organizes all medical supply and office storage processes and standards. Communicates with Leadership to ensure vendor transactions are sufficient. Will also keep Leadership informed of any special inventory needs Coordinates teams to process purchase orders and packing slips for timely and accurate payment processing Other duties as assigned Lifepoint Health is a leader in community-based care and driven by a mission of Making Communities Healthier. Requirements

  • Bachelors required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in purchasing preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of consultant experience
  • Must be able to deal tactfully with co-workers, physicians and patients
  • Good Communication and organizational skills
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions

  • Masters preferred
