About The Position
Vehicle Service Worker Transdev in Tuscaloosa, AL . is seeking a Vehicle Service Worker to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Vehicle Service Worker you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles. Transdev is proud to offer: Non-CBA Position: Competitive compensation package of minimum $15.25 – Maximum $17.25 Benefits include: Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks Holidays: days; 8 standard holidays Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability. Company paid training materials, and boot reimbursement
Requirements
- Are at least 21 years of age
- If you have your Class D license, we will provide you PAID training to get your Commercial Driver’s License and provide the vehicle for testing. Within the first 90 days of employment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Be subject to a drug test
- Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Vehicle fueling, cleaning, and detailing experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Fuel all vehicles
- Check and add fluids to vehicles as needed
- Clean and detail facility and the interiors and exteriors of vehicles
- Complete other maintenance tasks assigned by supervisor.
