The Vehicle Process Engineering Core, Fastening Systems/Core Launch Program Supervisor is responsible for leading the development and revision of automotive manufacturing torque tool equipment and processes. The person in this role ensures that standards are implemented and followed in every aspect of the model launch from the project's inception and design all the way through implementation and assembly. The Launch Program Supervisor will manage VPE projects, supervise union represented Engineers within UAW contract requirements, and satisfy Manufacturing Quality Assurance System requirements. The Program Supervisor will interface with manufacturing, maintenance, various engineering groups, finance, and purchasing. The candidate must possess superior written and verbal communication skills as well as exemplary organizational skills. May cross to other Core groups (Electrical, Alignment). Fastening knowledge preferred.
