About The Position
This position involves transporting clients participating in an adult day treatment or peer support program. Provide and complete all daily transportation logs after each run. Schedule TRIPS for identified clients and complete all necessary paperwork. Assist with cleaning as needed.Job Responsibilities: Monday-Friday
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Georgia driver’s license and clear MVR
- Must be at least 21 years old to transport
- Must be proficient with computers
Responsibilities
- Transporting clients participating in an adult day treatment or peer support program
- Provide and complete all daily transportation logs after each run
- Schedule TRIPS for identified clients and complete all necessary paperwork
- Assist with cleaning as needed
- Operate vehicles carefully and competently, following all traffic laws
- Assist passengers on and off of vehicle and help them with safety restraints
- Operate two-way radio and/or cellular telephone
- Recognize defects in the equipment that impact safety
- Perform pre-trip vehicle safety inspection
- Clean, fuel and maintain 15 passenger van
