About The Position

Position Description Objectives To provide timely, efficient, and reliable service in vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance Reporting Relationships Reports to Fleet Management Supervisor Supervision of none Responsibilities and Authorities Performs Personally the Following Activities Unique to This Position: Conducts all major and minor repairs on all vehicles and equipment, including hydraulics, welding, fabrication, brakes, etc. Installs and removes two-way radio equipment and assists in maintaining the same. Performs preventive maintenance on all vehicles and equipment. Maintains garage and related work area in a neat, clean, safe, and orderly condition free of recognized hazards. Assists in pumping gasoline and fuel records system, routine washing, or servicing vehicles as required. Assists stranded vehicles requiring on-the-spot maintenance or towing. Assists in scheduled washing and cleaning of vehicles and equipment as needed. Such other duties as may be required.
